Trench Shoring Technician

Responsibilities

• Organize, repair, and maintain/clean equipment.
• Support the daily maintenance of all vehicles (Maintain fluid levels, tire pressure, good housekeeping).
• Pull and prepare orders to ship to neighbor islands.
• Provide assistance to staff and customers as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, company, military, and port policies and requirements.
• Read and develop familiarity with excavation/shoring standards as specified in the 1926 subpart P.
• Participate in monthly inspections for fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other safety-related inspections.
• Must know how to use basic tools such as tape measure, drill gun, hammer, pressure washer, and other required tools needed to perform the required work.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
• Clean drivers abstract
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have a High School Diploma/GED
• Able to acquire and maintain DOT Physical
• Basic literacy, able to read, write, and record routine data and information

Pay

$18.90 starting rate with potential for advancement.

Schedule

Year-round work with the possibility to make overtime hours including weekend work.
