Job Duties
- Works within the Facilities department at Treehaven cleaning and preparing rooms for visiting groups.
- Cleaning includes classrooms and classroom set up, bathrooms, hallways, entrances, and light outside work.
- Facilities work involves repairing toilets, routine building checks on fire extinguishers, AEDs, etc.
- Under general supervision, assists with food service production, meal preparation, serving food to guests, cleaning, and safe equipment operation.
- Responsible for compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Works a variety of shifts including early mornings, afternoons, later evenings, and weekends.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables.
- Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs.
- Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed.
- Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly and helpful.
- Can follow directions.
- Can work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior food service or custodial and facility experience (plus).
