About the role
The current vacancy is with the University of Hawaii, Manoa Campus.
Responsibilities
- Climb and trim as well as remove a variety of trees;
- Apply chemicals and do minor tree surgery on diseased or injured trees;
- Operate medium and heavy trucks and other comparable mobile equipment;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Legal Authorization To Work: Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
- One year of experience in the care and maintenance of grounds and landscaped areas, including the trimming, pruning, and caring of trees and shrubs, and some truck driving.
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B is required.
Qualifications
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Your calculation of experience must be based on full-time, 40-hour work weeks. Part-time experience must be pro-rated.
