TREE TRIMMER-TRUCK DRIVER - OAHU

The current vacancy is with the University of Hawaii, Manoa Campus. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B is required at the time of application.

Duties Summary

• Climb and trim as well as remove a variety of trees
• Apply chemicals and do minor tree surgery on diseased or injured trees
• Operate medium and heavy trucks and other comparable mobile equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Legal Authorization To Work
• One year of experience in the care and maintenance of grounds and landscaped areas, including the trimming, pruning, and caring of trees and shrubs, and some truck driving
• A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B is required

Note: Your calculation of experience must be based on full-time, 40-hour work weeks. Part-time experience must be pro-rated. Also, hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week will not be credited.
