Responsibilities
- Perform tree pruning, canopy work, and structural pruning following industry best practices
- Absorb and assist with tree removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding as needed
- Operate safely at heights using aerial equipment and small engine equipment such as chain saws, pole saws, shears, and string trimmers
- Communicate professionally with clients about the scope, process, and expectations of services
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project
Requirements
- Forestry, horticulture, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Prior industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and walk 3+ miles per day
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
- Ability to climb and work aloft safely
- Must be able to obtain DOT certification, pass background check, and drug screenings
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong team-player mindset with a commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- ISA Certified Arborist credential (or actively working toward certification)
- Prior experience in a professional tree care, landscaping, or forestry environment
- Familiarity with ANSI A300 pruning and safety standards
- Experience operating aerial lifts or bucket trucks
Skills

- Knowledge of ANSI A300 pruning and safety standards
- Experience operating aerial lifts or bucket trucks
