Tree Climber - Chauffeur's License required (Pontiac) Certified Arborist Preferred - MDARD & CDL Licenses Preferred
Position Summary
Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by the Crew Leader by safely performing the following duties:
Responsibilities
- Climb trees, using climbing hooks and belts, or climb ladders to gain access to work areas
- Evaluate tree health for safety of climb
- Drive company vehicle up to an including a bucket truck as needed - CDL A preferred.
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in tree climbing and rigging
- Able to demonstrate working knowledge of basic climbing knots and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations
- Ability to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (includes a Drug Test)
