Responsibilities
- Maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage for safety.
- Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
- Interview and select candidates for posted positions.
- Facilitate new employee on-the-job training and development.
- Conduct supervisory conferences and performance evaluations.
- Determine and implement progressive discipline as needed.
- Respond to Step 1 grievances.
- Schedule employee training to meet mandatory requirements.
- Provide on-going supervision and monitor case management activities.
- Schedule team meetings and plan agendas to promote teamwork and communication.
- Use Safe Crisis Management (SCM) appropriately and supervise staff in its use.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or Associate’s degree and 60 credits, or High School Diploma and 5 years of progressive experience, with 4 years as a supervisor.
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion.
- Experience working with children and ability to manage resistant behavior.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
