ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Director of Clinical Services with oversight of daily operations for residential and outpatient services.
  • Provide leadership and coordination of 245G treatment services and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and agency policies.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and recovery-oriented culture throughout the organization.
  • Participate in agency initiatives, special projects, and program development activities.
  • Attend leadership meetings, staff meetings, and special events as assigned.
  • Participate in the agency oncall rotation.
  • Supervision & Staff Development

    • Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate staff, including counselors, recovery advocates and other assigned personnel.
    • Foster employee engagement, retention, and professional development through ongoing coaching, education, and training opportunities.
    • Assist Lead RATreatment Support, with orientation and onboarding of new RA employees.
    • Facilitate and/or cofacilitate recovery advocate and clinical staff meetings.
    • Promote professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and adherence to ANEW's mission and values.

    Clinical & Documentation Oversight

    • Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and case consultation to assigned staff.
    • Review and audit clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required records to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
    • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
    • Assist with clinical programming as needed, including facilitating groups, case management, and individual sessions within the scope of licensure and agency needs.

    Operations & Administration

    • Work with Lead RAAdministrative Support, on staffing schedules to ensure 24-hour program coverage while remaining within budget.
    • Approve employee timecards, timeoff requests, and staffing adjustments.
    • Assist with program scheduling and coordination of services.
    • Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, licensing standards, and documentation requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Current Minnesota licensure appropriate for clinical supervision (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LADC, or other qualifying license as applicable).
    • Experience supervising behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment staff preferred.
    • Knowledge of Minnesota 245G regulations and substance use disorder treatment practices.
    • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problems-solving skills.
    • Experience with clinical documentation review, quality assurance, and staff development.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a client-centered, recovery-oriented approach.
