About the role
The Treatment Scheduler supports the Montgomery Cancer Center by providing scheduling services including chemotherapy regimens, outside diagnostic testing, consults to other physicians, and hospital admissions. This role also trains and mentors new schedulers and collaborates with MCC personnel to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Supports chemotherapy regimens and outside diagnostic testing
- Serves as a trainer and mentor for new schedulers
- Collaborates with MCC personnel to ensure efficient operations
- Affords assistance to patients and guests as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting
- Clerical experience required
- Formal healthcare education/training preferred

- Ability to work within rigid time constraints
- Reasoning ability and good independent judgment
