Treatment Foster Care Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to children in treatment foster care settings.
• Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in the coordination of services including medical, educational, and legal needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and interventions.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of child development and mental health issues.
• Experience with case management software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
