Job Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to children in treatment foster care settings.
- Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in the coordination of services including medical, educational, and legal needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and interventions.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of child development and mental health issues.
- Experience with case management software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
