Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist

About the role

The Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist position at Modern Dental Care is a key role in providing exceptional care to patients in a welcoming environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Handle heavy phone volume
• Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
• Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
• Enter patient treatment plans
• Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
• Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
• Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
• General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Dental reception experience
• Excellent computer skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Willingness to learn & grow
• Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Stratford, CT
• A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!
• Ability to work within current office hours, shifts to be determined. Includes up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per Month.
