Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
- 1 year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- X-Ray certification, preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly pay $25.00
- Schedule: Mondays 7am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break from 1pm-2pm, Tuesdays 7am-1pm no lunch, Wednesdays 7am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break from 1pm-2pm, Thursdays 7am-7pm with a 1 hour lunch break from 1pm-2pm, and the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month from 8am-3pm no lunch
