Treatment Coordinator

About the Role

Union Square Endodontics is seeking a talented Treatment Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. We aim to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to explain treatment options, answer questions, and address concerns in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Collaborate with the dental team to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
• Schedule appointments for treatments, consultations, and follow-up visits, considering the patient's availability and the clinic's schedule.
• Assist patients in understanding and navigating insurance coverage and financial obligations, providing accurate cost estimates, and exploring payment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and correspondence to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
• Work closely with the front desk and administrative staff to ensure a smooth patient flow and an organized office environment.
• Continuously update your knowledge of dental treatments, procedures, and insurance policies to provide accurate information to patients.
• Handle any patient concerns or issues that may arise during the treatment process, escalating them as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
• Facilitate and coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of dental experience required.
• Dental verification experience required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, busy office environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and the dental team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex treatment information clearly.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in dental software, digital tools, and computer and AI skills.
• Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
• Empathetic and patient-centered approach to customer service.
• A high school diploma.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Ability to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas.
• Ability to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods.
• Ability to work around medical equipment and instruments.
• Adherence to OSHA and infection control standards.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.

Pay

Position Base Pay Range: $25 USD - $32 USD
