Treatment Coordinator

About the role

Greensboro West Friendly Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to creating a 5-star patient experience by helping patients understand their treatment, navigate insurance benefits, coordinate appointments, and achieve their oral health goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, delivering a welcoming and professional experience.
• Manage a multi-line phone system to schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while optimizing provider schedules.
• Ensure schedules remain productive and filled for doctors and hygienists.
• Collect and update patient personal and insurance information in Denticon accurately.
• Check in and check out patients with professionalism and care.
• Present and review treatment plans to promote case acceptance.
• Assist in verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, maintaining accurate records.
• Process payments and enforce financial policies accurately and courteously.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support office operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental front office, treatment coordinator, or similar dental administrative role.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• A professional and polished demeanor with strong attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional patient experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 15-20 lbs.
