Houston Dental Oasis is seeking a highly skilled and outgoing Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team. The Treatment Coordinator will be the first impression for our patients and play a vital role within our dedicated team. Our mission is to make people enjoy coming to the dentist. Responsibilities
- Scheduling
- Promptly answer telephone calls in a courteous manner to assist patients
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Obtain information from patients to ensure that all patient information is complete and accurate
- Enter patient information in practice management software
- Administrative duties including checking patients in and out and coordinating payments
- Maintain a full schedule of patients daily
- Market to existing patients to maintain a full schedule for office staff
- Administrative
- Respond to inbound emails
- Maintain communication with referring healthcare providers and partners
- Verify insurance policies are active for returning patients
- Assists with ad-hoc reporting
- Schedule vendor meetings
- Assist with Social Media Marketing
- Assist with Internal Marketing
- Support clinical staff as needed
- Maintain and clean a well-organized office environment
- Perform other related duties as directed or assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year or more dental office experience, required
- Experience in customer facing role in office setting
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Desire and commitment to serving and helping others
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with a team
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs as required
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred, but not required
