Description

BAART Programs is seeking a Treatment Center Director/Program Director for their Opiate Treatment Program. The ideal candidate will lead a team of healthcare professionals and manage daily operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage the Opiate Treatment Program (OTP) clinic within budgeted and planned results
  • Hire, train, evaluate, manage, counsel, and terminate subordinate personnel
  • Communicate with and comply with regulatory bodies (SAMHSA, DEA, CARF, JCAHO, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Manage preparation of various federal, state, and local applications, filings, licenses, permits, and approvals
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies and implement them
  • Partner with clinic team to prepare for increased census
  • Work with OTP Medical Director, Psychiatric Consultant, and Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with CARF/JCAHO standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Maintain patient, employee, and company confidentiality

Development Responsibilities

  • Drive and maintain census through community relations, education, and development activities
  • Identify and implement steps to increase and retain census
  • Train clinic team to handle increased census
  • Lead efforts to identify, hire, and train personnel with cultural diversity to meet future clinic needs
  • Participate in the Company’s Performance Improvement Process
  • Ensure compliance with Board of Health, OSHA, and other relevant standards
  • Support marketing programs and literature development as needed

Qualifications

  • Multiple years of experience as an administrator of a clinical program
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Understanding of clinic operations and significant experience in substance abuse field
  • Understanding of HIPAA, federal, state, and CARF standards and regulations
  • Organizational and leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage personnel
  • Strategic thinker to recommend alternative solutions, execute, and monitor
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously and generate ideas and benefits for the Company
  • Customer service-focused and energetic
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
