About the role

The Treatment Center Coordinator in the department of Pediatric Dentistry executes daily Treatment Center activities under the direction of the Treatment Center Manager and the Clinical Program Director. The coordinator collaborates with front desk staff, faculty, and residents to ensure smooth operations and serves as the primary contact for all Pediatric Treatment Center matters involving patients, residents, vendors, and university administrative staff.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily Treatment Center activities.
  • Collaborate with front desk staff, faculty, and residents to ensure smooth operations.
  • Serve as the contact person for Pediatric Treatment Center matters for patients, residents, vendors, and university administrative staff.
  • Establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands.
  • Identify problems, analyze information, and present potential solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and remain open to others' ideas.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment while also contributing individually.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, organizational skills, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Monitor own work to ensure quality.
  • Interact with students, residents, faculty, staff, patients, and various academic and administrative departments.
  • Provide efficient communication in person and over the phone.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Multi-lingual candidates (Creole, Spanish, Portuguese) are highly desired.
  • Prior work experience in an academic and office setting is highly desired.
  • Must be a self-starter with exceptional coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a people-driven environment.
  • Customer service oriented.

Pay

Expected hiring range: $23.13 – $29.13 per hour. The salary of the finalist selected will be set based on factors including departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and internal pay comparison.
