Treasury Specialist
Support the accounting, accounts receivable, cash applications, and accounts payable teams by reconciling daily cash activity and identifying, tracking, and reporting discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash reconciliations for multiple bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Post direct debit payments and non-customer related transactions.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily liquidity metrics and distribute reports to management.
- Enter cash payment transactions into banking software accurately and timely.
- Process cash transfers between accounts as required.
- Support month-end cash reconciliation activities.
- Provide general assistance to the Accounting team as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting, treasury, or relevant experience, required.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Must comply with Summit’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may include customer-specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
Skills
- Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with employees and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas such as vlookups, highly preferred.
- Experience using Oracle Fusion Cash Management, preferred.
