Treasury Specialist

About the role

The Treasury Specialist position is available for a corporate operations role based in Lenexa, Kansas. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate treasury, working closely with PCG's banking partners and cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the Company's day-to-day cash balances, investing and borrowing activity, and ACH/wire transfers, with a focus on fraud prevention.
• Communicate the Company's cash position to Senior Management.
• Monitor banking platforms to ensure PCG employees have appropriate access and minimize the potential for fraud.
• Review bank account analysis statements and ensure all billings are appropriate.
• Prepare treasury related journal entries.
• Continually reengineer treasury processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain and document treasury procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure treasury services provided by banks are cost efficient and explore other economic alternatives.
• Monitor the Company's credit card PCI compliance.
• Process miscellaneous credit card transactions for business units without credit card capabilities.
• Maintain a high level of customer service to PCG business units and assist them with all treasury related needs.
• Aid in year-end financial reporting and audit deliverables.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and functions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Process-oriented, with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with online banking platforms, treasury management systems, and/or Microsoft D365.
• Familiarity with ACH and wire transfer processing or cash management.
• Experience providing customer service to internal business partners across a large organization.
