About the role

We are looking for highly motivated, self-starting Treasury Sales Officers to advocate for our clients by providing liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, FX, and commercial card services. You will challenge the status quo, influence peers with diverse points of view, and drive the future of treasury management at Bank of America.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and aggressively grow treasury revenue across a portfolio of Large Corporate TMT clients.
  • Partner with Corporate Bankers, Liquidity, Payments and Receivables, Trade, Card, and Foreign Exchange teams to develop customized treasury solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Focus on growth of new and underpenetrated client relationships, and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Accountable for revenue growth, profitability, client planning, client calling intensity, portfolio development, pricing strategy, and proposal/presentation development and delivery.
  • Maintain a strong client focus, treasury industry expertise, understanding of the evolving innovation landscape, client subsector expertise, and a broad understanding of global cash management products and services.
  • Ensure responsible revenue and balance sheet growth, profitability improvement, client calling and planning, portfolio development, pricing strategy, proposal responses, and lead client-facing treasury presentations.
  • Develop customized treasury solutions by identifying client-focused cost and benefit analysis and bank-focused profitability analysis.
  • Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and Year over Year (YoY) growth.
  • Actively participate in the Client Management Process (CMP), focusing on client relationship development from growth of new relationships to deepening existing ones through thoughtful identification of client needs.
  • Foster digital adoption by driving mobile, digital, and real-time payments adoption and manage strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues.
  • Leverage best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solutioning positioning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Treasury/cash management industry experience, including global product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Strong business/financial acumen and creative thinking while adhering to guidelines.
  • Proven ability to foster strong partnerships and build trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Highly engaged, collaborative, and motivated team player who values diverse thoughts and backgrounds.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker who embraces change and challenges the status quo.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, presentation, negotiation, and active listening skills.
  • Business development and relationship management skills with a corporate client set.
  • Excellent critical/strategic thinking and problem-resolution skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage risk while balancing client, team, and bank needs.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and a collaborative team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong executive presence both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • US and International treasury management and/or product knowledge (desired).
  • Intrinsically motivated to continuously improve processes and/or one’s own education (desired).
  • Ability to lead global coverage, service, and fulfillment teams while effectively delegating tasks (desired).
  • Desire to mentor and sponsor other associates (desired).
  • Bilingual (business proficient) language skills (desired).
