About the Role
The Treasury Management Team Leader oversees the bank’s cash management, electronic banking, and merchant services products, including implementation, project management, and ongoing client support. This is a working Team Lead position with supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation and management of the Treasury Management team.
- Manage the sales activities and efforts of the Treasury Management Specialists.
- Create reporting metrics for Senior Management.
- Collaborate with other bank departments on operational issues related to the Treasury Management Team.
- Participate in bank-wide projects as needed.
- Provide sales support to Commercial Relationship Managers, including product demonstrations and implementation for complex commercial clients.
- Administer the bank’s Virtual Check Deposit service, including setup, client implementation, training, compliance, reporting, and product management.
- Administer the bank’s ACH origination program, including setup, implementation, training, compliance with NACHA guidelines, credit risk oversight, and customer support.
- Administer the bank’s Merchant Services program, including setup, implementation, training, customer support, and statement management.
- Provide ongoing customer treasury management education through calls, site visits, and communications about security, new products, and enhancements.
- Manage the bank’s CDARS/ICS programs, including client setup, documentation, rollovers, and product management.
- Administer Treasury Management products, including setup, implementation, and first-level customer support.
- Manage the Account Analysis process for commercial banking clients, including account setup, monthly billing, and maintenance.
- Support additional treasury management products (e.g., Positive Pay, Lease Security, Lockbox, Smart Pay, Remit Plus) including implementation, documentation, and customer support.
- Provide first-level support to clients for complex treasury management needs and technical issues.
- Develop and document processes and procedures to improve workflow and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain the department’s Vault page.
- Demonstrate behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience.
- Meet performance, productivity, and quality standards.
- Use nCino to track and document client interactions and sales activities.
- Stay current on competitive market conditions, products, and solutions.
- Hire, train, and motivate staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years in banking, including at least 2 years of Treasury Management or similar commercial banking sales or service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
