About the Role

We are an employee and customer-focused bank seeking an energetic Government Banking team member to support the sales, operations, and management functions of treasury management. This role coordinates with Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and Government Banking teams to ensure treasury management product set-up, training, and compliance are completed efficiently and accurately. The position is based in our Adams branch.

Responsibilities

  • Commit to and uphold a no-excuses environment where accountability for behaviors, actions, performance, and attitudes is expected.
  • Adhere to all ACB policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong working knowledge of treasury management products and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and email, resolving problems or complaints using critical thinking and active listening.
  • Complete treasury management account set-up, onboarding for new accounts, and review applications, agreements, and documentation for accuracy.
  • Send, track, and file documents for approval in iDentifi.
  • Perform system set-up and maintenance for existing and new treasury management products and services, including terminations as requested.
  • Apply and track fees for commercial accounts utilizing treasury management services.
  • Monitor industry and competitive trends for treasury management products, services, and fees.
  • Assist business lines with Remote Deposit Capture scanner set-up and coordinate installations with providers; troubleshoot scanner issues.
  • Work closely with Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and Government Banking teams to ensure operational adherence and support for treasury management customers.
  • Serve as a primary contact for treasury management regulations, products/services, risk management, and internal/external customer service.
  • Manage the strategic focus of enhancing and growing the treasury management portfolio.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree or higher in business, finance, or a related area preferred.
  • Treasury management experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience.

  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of ACB’s products, services, policies, procedures, and NACHA operating rules and regulations.
  • Strong computer systems knowledge, including the bank’s core system and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
  • Professional conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions balancing customer satisfaction with ACB’s risk and exposure to loss or fraud.
  • Ability to interact professionally with the public.
  • Willingness to pursue required certifications.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based in a banking environment, with occasional out-of-branch/office work and conference attendance.
  • Physical demands include sitting, standing, and moving throughout the branch; climbing, stooping, reaching, and using hands to finger objects or controls.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds.
  • Data entry and typing skills required.
  • Vision abilities: close, distance, and peripheral vision for reading written, printed, or computer screen data.
  • Ability to transport self to and from meetings, conferences, and events in a timely manner.
