Essential Functions
- Business Development & Sales: Prospects and sources new commercial clients for treasury management services; develops and executes sales strategies to achieve deposit and fee income goals; prepares and delivers compelling presentations, proposals, and pricing pro formas.
- Relationship Management: Maintains and expands relationships with existing clients through regular reviews and consultative engagement; partners with Relationship Managers and other departments to identify cross-selling opportunities. Maintains contact with top and high priority customers.
- Product Expertise & Advisory: Serves as an internal expert on treasury management products and services; provides strategic advisory services to clients on cash management, fraud prevention, and payment solutions. Internally champions new product development and pricing.
- Market & Industry Engagement: Stays informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies; represents the Bank at community events and industry conferences to build brand presence.
- Maintains a current knowledge of Bank regulations. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements
- Sales & Revenue Metrics: Net New Revenue from new treasury clients and cross-sell opportunities; Deposit Growth attributable to treasury solutions.
- New Client Count onboarded; Churn Rate of clients discontinuing services.
- Pipeline Health (volume and quality of opportunities); Time to Close from initial contact to deal closure.
- Consistently demonstrates the behaviors that embody River City Bank’s Values.
- Good working relationships and coordination exist with all co-workers and managers.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in accounting, business, or finance or equivalent experience.
Required Experience
- Five plus years of treasury management/commercial loan experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of banking payment system regulations, transaction processing and corporate treasury functions.
Knowledge Skills/Abilities
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed established sales goals within expected timelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in personal computers and related software.
