About the Role
The Treasury Management Sales Analyst works with clients and internal teams to coordinate Treasury Management sales opportunities, implementations, and account maintenance. This role may also handle small business referrals to qualify, advance, propose, and sell Treasury Management services.
Responsibilities
- Attend sales calls, upon request, from Commercial and Treasury Management Associates.
- Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations for clients and prospects.
- Assist in preparing treasury and commercial card pricing/profitability models, proposals, RFPs, presentations, and payment cycle reviews.
- Prepare, attend, and manage follow-up from annual Treasury Management client reviews.
- Gather data, processing instructions, documentation, and other information required to facilitate new client Treasury Management implementations.
- Monitor the status of active implementations to ensure setups are completed on time and accurately in accordance with client expectations.
- Maintain a high level of communication with clients and internal partners during the sales and implementation process.
- Maintain client data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including initiating Treasury Management workflows for new product implementations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Retail-generated small business referrals; qualify referrals and lead the process from proposal to implementation.
- Clearly and accurately communicate complex solutions to clients; suggest products and services that increase efficiency and/or reduce risk of fraud.
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex client questions and/or service issues.
- Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
- Remain current with all Treasury Management products, services, and regulatory requirements, understanding their impact on the Treasury Management function.
- Complete job assignments in a professional, timely, and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work; utilize appropriate technology and service tools for tracking requests.
- Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with Associates, clients, and vendors.
- Represent Busey Bank and the Treasury Management team in a highly professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality; adhere to Busey Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Treasury Management disciplines and related solution sets.
- Familiarity with electronic business banking platforms and other financial services.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Results-oriented with excellent execution and closing capabilities.
- Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressures; travel as needed (40%).
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic and discretion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Finance or Business, or previous banking and sales experience.
- 2+ years of banking experience; Treasury Management and/or payment technology sales preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Pay
Base pay range: $58,000 - $72,200 per year. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
