About the role

Assumes responsibility for developing and managing marketing strategies, campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to grow defined market. Focuses on new business for the bank, particularly Treasury Management services and deposit growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develops new business opportunities through proactive calls on new and existing customers for deposits, loans, and treasury management services.
  • Successfully and consistently obtains production goals in new deposit generation and fee generation, assessed/assigned annually.
  • Manages a customer portfolio to assist relationship managers with risk assessments and cross-sells into customers within that portfolio.
  • Completes appropriate risk assessments and enhanced due diligence forms for new customer acquisitions.
  • Engages in community activities and organizations to support networking opportunities and enhance S&T Bank's visibility in the marketplace.
  • Leads periodic team meetings with all team members, reviewing market results, identifying sales & market opportunities, and supporting product knowledge updates.
  • Works with market team members to develop prospect lists of both existing and prospective customers as leads, and develops prospects/leads.
  • Serves as the "expert" of treasury management products/sales to promote sales and serve as a resource to customers to improve their working capital.
  • Participates in seminars for customers, prospects, and bank employees on various deposit and treasury management products.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • Additional education, certification, training, or licenses: Certified Treasury Professional preferred.
  • Requires five to ten years general experience with five to ten years specialized treasury management experience required.

Qualifications

Strong ability to work independently, as well as be motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and, in turn, S&T.

Skills

Proactive call skills, risk assessment, customer portfolio management, community engagement, team leadership, product knowledge, seminar facilitation, and working capital improvement.

$65,000.00 - $161,700.00

Schedule

Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department)
