Overview

G42 Americas is a global artificial intelligence and technology group with origins in Abu Dhabi, rapidly expanding in the US, Europe, and other markets. The company is building a vertically integrated AI powerhouse that includes AI data centers, hyperscale AI cloud infrastructure, and frontier AI applications. At its core, G42 is creating an AI token factory and AI agent factory to produce intelligence at industrial scale and turn that intelligence into agents and applications that reshape governments, enterprises, and society.

The treasury function will support one of the most capital‑intensive technology build‑outs, establishing cash visibility, payment controls, and funding mechanics. This hands‑on role involves designing the treasury framework and operating it, with direct executive exposure. G42 USA is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. The preference is for candidates based in the Seattle/Bellevue area, though candidates elsewhere in the US who can travel to Bellevue regularly are also considered.

Responsibilities

• Cash and Liquidity: Establish daily group cash visibility across G42 USA and business‑unit bank accounts; build short‑ and medium‑term liquidity forecasts and a consolidated group liquidity view; define funding and cash‑sweep models between G42 USA and its operating entities; improve forecasting accuracy to support capital allocation and data‑center build‑out decisions.
• Payments and Banking: Set up bank accounts with dual‑control payment rails for debt service, intercompany funding, and corporate costs; define intercompany payment rules, approval matrices, and netting where appropriate; optimize banking relationships and negotiate cost‑effective treasury services; ensure cash is not commingled with the global parent and that signatory controls meet US governance standards.
• Debt and Investments: Maintain the debt schedule and covenant calendar for facilities at G42 USA; support drawdowns, compliance reporting, and investor‑ready debt disclosures; allocate surplus cash into low‑risk instruments where policy allows; partner with FP&A on capex funding and liquidity scenarios for infrastructure build‑out.
• Policy, Automation and Team: Publish treasury policies and ensure adherence to financial regulations and best practices; implement automation for cash management, bank reconciliation, and payment workflows in partnership with Finance BI and Systems; lead and develop the treasury team as scope expands across business units; partner with Controller and Tax on intercompany flows, transfer pricing, and related‑party funding.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in corporate treasury or corporate finance, with hands‑on cash and liquidity management (10+ years for Director level).
• Experience building or scaling treasury for a multi‑entity US organization, ideally in high‑growth or capital‑intensive sectors.
• Strong knowledge of cash management systems, payment rails, debt facilities, and bank relationship management.
• Proven ability to design dual‑control payment processes and treasury governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Preferred experience in infrastructure, data‑center, cloud, or AI‑infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with treasury management system or bank aggregation platform implementation.
• Experience with related‑party funding structures and global parent relationships.
• Professional certifications such as CTP, CFA, or an advanced degree are a plus.
