We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to support day-to-day cash management and broader corporate treasury operations in New York, New York. This long-term contract position is suited for someone who can translate financial data into clear funding insights, maintain strong control over treasury activities, and contribute to reliable cash flow planning.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and help maintain adequate liquidity across treasury accounts and related activities.
- Prepare, update, and analyze cash flow forecasts to support short- and longer-range funding decisions.
- Assist with routine treasury operations, including payment visibility, cash movement tracking, and balance reporting.
- Review banking and treasury data for accuracy, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Partner with finance and accounting teams to align treasury activity with reporting needs and operational priorities.
- Produce regular treasury reports and present actionable insights on cash trends, exposures, and working capital movements.
- Support process improvements within corporate treasury to strengthen controls, efficiency, and overall execution.
Requirements
- Experience working in corporate treasury or a closely related treasury-focused finance function.
- Practical knowledge of treasury operations, cash positioning, and day-to-day liquidity management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain cash flow forecasts using financial and operational inputs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret treasury data and identify meaningful variances.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial reporting tools used for treasury analysis and monitoring.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to accuracy, controls, and deadline management.
