Treasury Analyst

Make a difference. As a Treasury Analyst, you will perform detailed analysis and provide specialized reporting to senior management that will optimize financial planning and decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop various non-recurring and recurring reports and forecasting models as assigned by the Assistant Treasurer, Vice President and Treasurer, or Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Provide the Vice President and Treasurer with various specialized monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the performance of the Company's accounts receivable portfolio.
  • Perform analysis on financial decision-making opportunities such as rate of return, lease versus buy, capital budgeting, and lease internal rate of return.
  • Responsible for preparation of the quarterly report that is presented to the Company's Finance Committee; audit final reports for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Recommend, develop, and maintain models that forecast the future financial performance of the Company.
  • Provide independent valuations of acquisition candidates.
  • Provide backup to other Treasury functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience: Must have excellent skills in spreadsheet and forecast computing including Excel, Visual Basic, and Access and demonstrated ability to understand and apply basic financial concepts.
  • 4+ years of experience preferred.
  • Four-year degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial practices and techniques.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and how to apply them to the Company's proprietary models.
  • Understanding of how to apply basic to moderately complex financial concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from large volumes of data.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of moderately complex treasury activities.
  • Excellent skills in Excel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and exercise good judgment.
  • Some travel required.

Pay

The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $67,919 annually, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
