About the Role

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting daily treasury operations, payment processing, cash administration, and banking activities. This role ensures the timely and accurate execution of domestic and international payments, maintains treasury system access, supports cash reporting and reconciliations, and partners with internal stakeholders to deliver efficient treasury operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Treasury Operations
    • Support daily treasury operations, including payment processing, cash administration, and banking activities.
    • Prepare, review, and process domestic and international wire transfers and electronic payments through banking platforms.
    • Monitor payment activity and resolve pending or rejected transactions.
    • Ensure all payments are processed accurately and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and approval requirements.
    • Assist with daily cash reporting, cash positioning, and account reconciliations.
  • Payment Administration
    • Coordinate payment requests with internal business partners.
    • Review supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Verify that all required approvals are obtained prior to payment processing.
    • Track payment approvals and follow up on outstanding requests.
    • Maintain payment records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Treasury Support
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for treasury-related operational inquiries.
    • Research and resolve payment, banking, and treasury system issues.
    • Respond to inquiries regarding payment status, wire transfers, banking information, and treasury procedures.
    • Escalate complex issues to senior treasury team members as needed.
  • Treasury Systems Administration
    • Administer user access across treasury banking platforms and systems.
    • Process new user requests, user modifications, entitlement changes, and user deactivations.
    • Coordinate access approvals with internal stakeholders and banking partners.
    • Perform periodic user access reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls.
    • Maintain documentation related to treasury system access and user administration.
  • Reporting & Operational Support
    • Prepare recurring treasury reports and operational metrics.
    • Maintain treasury procedures, documentation, and shared files.
    • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end treasury activities.
    • Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing supporting documentation.
    • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
    • Perform additional treasury and administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in treasury, finance, accounting, banking operations, or a related field.
  • Experience processing domestic and international payments through online banking platforms preferred.
  • Experience administering user access within treasury banking systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with treasury banking platforms such as JPM Access, BNP Paribas, HSBCnet, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, including Trovata, is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, and banking processes.
  • Understanding of payment controls, audit requirements, and financial compliance.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
