Treasury Analyst
About the role
We are looking to hire a Treasury Analyst. This is a unique role that combines a number of unique functions. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial processes and analytics to drive informed decision-making throughout the business.
Responsibilities
- Cash Management and banking analysis and administration
- Research and communicate reconciliation variances discovered during financial close process
- Participate in monthly and annual closing
- Calculate and book monthly general journal entries as assigned
- Commissions reporting and general journal entries
- Fixed assets and maintenance of subledger
- Royalty accounting
- Evaluate new banking products and services to facilitate change within the organization
- Develop, coordinate, input and manage the weekly cash forecasting process
- Provide various ad-hoc analysis as requested by the management team
- Working capital analysis; develop new and enhance existing reporting to improve key metrics, such as overdue outstanding and Days Sales Outstanding; etc.
- Lead and participate in assigned finance projects
- Coordinate necessary training for successful project completion
- Responsible for Sales Tax reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required
- ERP System knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in treasury/cash management or banking field
- Royalty Accounting experience desired
- General accounting experience preferred
- Sales Tax Reporting strongly desired
Qualifications
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Advanced computer user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), as well as general ledger and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project lead skills and process improvement experience
- Able to manage multiple priorities and juggle between daily, weekly, monthly demands
- Able to work independently
- Able to work well under pressure and able to work cross functionally with all levels in the organization
- Level Of Responsibility: Interact independently with internal and external parties, has the knowledge to make independent decisions
- Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not supervise employees
