The President of the Buffalo Pepin Literacy Alliance Board oversees strategic planning, ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, and manages the board's interactions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic planning and development of the organization's long-term goals
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to adult education and literacy programs
• Manage communication and coordination with board members, staff, volunteers, and external partners
• Represent the organization at community events and meetings
• Develop and maintain relationships with funders and other key stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field
• Experience in adult education or literacy programs
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
