Work the AYR Cold Starter position on the patient tray line and place cold items on the patient tray per ticket.
Meet the Tray Passer standards and pass the tray within 45 minutes of the patient's order while supporting all food safety requirements.
Multitask by performing tasks such as patient tray line, tray passing, and stocking the tray line as needed.
Show knowledge of food service standards, including HACCP standards and taking temperatures.
Prepare cold food items and deliver patient trays according to prescribed diets.
Aid in portioning patient orders onto trays using printed tickets according to specific diets.
Utilize safe knife skills and the use of cutting gloves.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and proper food handling techniques in all kitchen areas.
Communicate effectively with teammates and management to support the department's goals.
Interact and follow directions from leads and perform required duties with minimal supervision.
Show the physical ability to push tray carts to different patient access areas of the hospital, lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds.
Comply with all department rules outlined in the employee handbook, including attendance, uniform usage, and sanitation and safety guidelines.
Participate in the Employee Development Process by completing self-evaluations, attending meetings, and fulfilling mandatory education requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
Minimum: Six (6) months or more experience in a restaurant or food service industry.
Preferred: One (1) or more years in hospitality, foodservice, or health care setting.
