About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types including PPL, CPL, IR, and CFI certifications. Offer both ground and flight instruction tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach private pilot (PPL), commercial pilot (CPL), instrument rating (IR), and certificated flight instructor (CFI) courses.
- Prepare students for FAA exams and ensure they meet all certification requirements.
- Offer personalized flight training and checkride preparation.
- Provide ground school support and quick reviews.
- Ensure safety and compliance with aviation regulations during all training sessions.
Requirements
- Valid pilot license and instructor certificate.
- Experience teaching private, commercial, instrument, and/or certified flight instructors.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in flight instruction.
- Passing scores on relevant aviation knowledge tests.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
