Travelling Superintendent - Commercial Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary: $140K-$170K + $52K in potential per diem if you are travelling (salary depends on experience) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Travelling Superintendent - Commercial to oversee multiple commercial construction projects across regions. The Travelling Superintendent will ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the client's quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on commercial construction experience and is comfortable managing documentation and communication through tools such as Procore and Microsoft Project. This client is hiring for both travelling and non-travelling roles! Key ResponsibilitiesTravel regularly to multiple commercial project sites to supervise construction activities and ensure consistent application of company standards.Manage day-to-day site operations: schedule and coordinate subcontractors, trades, material deliveries, and on-site personnel to meet project milestones.Enforce safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance across all job sites; conduct site safety walks and address safety issues immediately.Coordinate with project management, general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to resolve construction issues, change orders, and design clarifications.Use Procore (or equivalent) to manage RFIs, submittals, daily reports, photos, and project documentation; maintain accurate records and communication trails.Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools; monitor progress against the baseline and drive recovery plans when needed.Qualifications3+ years of Proven experience as a Travelling Superintendent or Superintendent on commercial projects (required).Experience across relevant market types is highly desirable: grocery/supermarket, retail, restaurant, hospitality/hotels, healthcare/hospitals/medical, office, entertainment, gyms/recreation/clubhouse, and multi-family/residential projects, tribal projects, warehousing, distribution, etcProjects range from $15M-$50MAny clubhouse experience preferredExtensive commercial construction experience with exposure to ground-up and design-build delivery methods.Demonstrated experience working with general contractors and managing subcontractor trade packages.Proficient in construction management software (Procore preferred) and scheduling tools (Microsoft Project or equivalent).Candidates who fill out skills and questions move to the front of the application process!
