Traveling Weld Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Train and develop field welders at various job sites.
• Inspect welding work, material handling, storage practices, and construction quality.
• Evaluate repair work and provide feedback.
• Lead the Welder Performance Development Process.
• Conduct and document Welder Performance Reviews.
• Create personalized improvement plans for welders.
• Provide performance insights and feedback to Operations and Site Leadership.
• Mentor new welders during onboarding and early field exposure.
• Address field welding issues and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Showcase ownership of the Welder Development Program.
• Support safety initiatives and participate in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with tanks, pressure vessels, and/or water towers preferred.
• Certifiable in essential and applicable welding processes such as FCAW, SMAW, SAW, etc.
• Previous training/development experience in a field role preferred.
• CWI or CWE certification is a plus.
