Job Summary
Afforded Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; coach, counsel, and discipline employees; initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
- Select, orient, and train employees; develop personal growth opportunities.
- Schedule and assign personnel; establish priorities; monitor progress; revise schedules; resolve problems; report results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repair and evaluating equipment.
- Perform daily inspections on welded and fabricated components produced through processes such as laser cutting, brake, welding, and assembly.
- Conduct daily safety observations, ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and drive daily safety culture.
- Manage employee timecards and oversee personnel Paid Time Off (PTO) requests.
- Manage subassembly inventory and ensure sufficient supply.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' welding experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of material processing and welding.
- Experience in fabrication, welding inspection, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
- Understanding of the AWS D1.1 certification.
Schedule
Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm. Required to work some Saturdays.
