TEKsystems has a project with a client in North Dakota to assist with the transition from NCR to ECRS registers at retail stores. This overnight work ensures no disruption to daytime business operations.
About the role
Provide technical support for the client’s migration from NCR to ECRS point-of-sale systems. Deployments will occur overnight at approximately 11 sites between mid-August and mid-September, typically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. Mileage and paid drive time will be provided beyond a specified threshold.
Responsibilities
- Assist with end-of-life procedures for existing NCR registers
- Install and configure new ECRS registers
- Provide on-site technical support during overnight deployments
- Troubleshoot issues related to POS hardware and software
Requirements
- Experience with technical support, customer service, and POS systems
- Familiarity with NCR and/or ECRS platforms
- Ability to work overnight shifts (approximately 3:45 PM – 5:30 AM CST)
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites in North Dakota
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Pay
$28.00 per hour.
