About the Role

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution – offers premium compensation and maximum flexibility for experienced Surgical Technologists. Assignments are short and long-term throughout the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• Preferred Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
• Minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST certification.
• If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed (e.g., trained on the job or in the military), five years of work experience is required.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
• Ability to complete orientation and training.

Gross Weekly Rate: $1,872.00
