About the Role

Based in Westfield, Indiana, we are an industry leader specializing in multifamily redevelopment, large-scale renovation, and residential construction projects across markets nationwide. We're seeking a Traveling Superintendent with multifamily construction experience to lead field operations on major redevelopment and renovation projects. This role requires a hands-on construction leader who can manage schedules, subcontractors, safety, quality, and site operations while traveling to project locations throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all onsite construction activities, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout project execution
  • Manage project schedules, critical path activities, delivery schedules, and three-week look-ahead planning
  • Drive project performance related to safety, quality, budget, productivity, and schedule milestones
  • Coordinate major site development, slab-on-grade construction, wood-frame construction, and building turnover activities
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and company standards
  • Lead weekly subcontractor meetings, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and progress reviews
  • Identify and resolve field issues impacting cost, schedule, quality, or safety performance
  • Coordinate inspections, punch list completion, owner turnover, and project closeout activities
  • Support project cost control efforts, change management, and draw process coordination
  • Maintain daily reports, project documentation, site records, and field communication with project stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on construction field experience
  • 3+ years of Superintendent experience managing multifamily or large-scale residential construction projects
  • Experience with slab-on-grade construction, wood-frame construction, and major site development
  • Experience managing projects with construction budgets exceeding $10 million
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, and subcontractor management skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
