Traveling Superintendent - Multifamily - Northern California

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for a ground-up multifamily construction project.
• Cookordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and drive milestones to ensure timely completion.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work meets project specifications.
• Cookordinate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Consultants.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and site records.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays and cost impacts.
• Provide leadership and continuity throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of wood-frame multifamily construction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage field operations from project startup through closeout.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractor trades and maintaining aggressive schedules.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite full-time and commit to a long-duration project.
• Familiarity with projects throughout California or the Western United States.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 DOE

Typical Schedule

• Onsite Monday-Friday with the ability to return home on weekends
• Significant flexibility and support for the right candidate, including customized housing arrangements when needed
