Traveling Superintendent - Federal, Healthcare Construction
About the role
We are a full-service, multi-discipline general contracting firm that specializes in commercial and federal government construction projects. We are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and we aim to bring Military discipline, respect and integrity to each and every one of our projects. The Traveling Superintendent will oversee federal contract and commercial construction projects across the Midwest, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective supervision of construction teams and coordination with various stakeholders, including subcontractors and federal agencies. Employment Type: Full-Time. The initial project is an $8M hospital renovation in Montana. This is a new role.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and labor to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of sites to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs and reports.
- Ensure that all federal contract requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and training to on-site staff to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project status and issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in federal contract and healthcare construction site supervision.
- Ability to travel weekly Mon-Thurs. throughout the Midwest as required.
- Ground-up experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
