Traveling Superintendent – Correctional & Civic Construction
About the role
At River City Building Group (RCBG), our Traveling Superintendents lead complex construction projects across diverse geographic markets, with a particular focus on correctional, justice, civic, and other public-sector facilities. This role is designed for experienced construction professionals who understand the unique demands of building in secure, highly regulated, and operationally sensitive environments. From coordinating work within occupied facilities to navigating security protocols, phased construction, multiple stakeholders, and demanding schedules, our Traveling Superintendents serve as the driving force behind successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings previous experience with correctional, justice, civic, municipal, government, or similarly complex institutional construction and thrives in a travel-based environment where every project presents a new challenge.
