Traveling Superintendent - Big Box Retail | Midwest & Southeast

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction activities for ground-up big box retail projects exceeding 50,000 sq ft
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, quality control, and site safety compliance
• Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Drive project milestones while ensuring schedule and budget objectives are achieved
• Travel throughout the Midwest and Southeast with company-supported rotational travel schedules

Requirements

• Practical capability to oversee construction work across multiple project locations
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, materials, and daily site activities
• Ability to read and apply construction plans and project specifications
• Knowledge of quality checks and issue resolution during construction work
• Confidence maintaining accurate site records and progress updates
• Ability to coordinate construction activities across retail projects in the Midwest and Southeast

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000 – $130,000
• Monthly vehicle allowance: $600 – $800
• Competitive per diem
• Rotational travel schedule allowing return home every other week for 3 days (all expenses covered)
