Traveling Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day field operations on commercial jobs valued between $5M and $30M, including subcontractor scheduling and coordination
• Collaborate with the broader project team on scope review, site logistics planning, and safety compliance
• Track construction progress against both timeline and budget targets
• Act as the primary on-site contact to keep client relationships strong throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Superintendent in construction
• Hands-on ground-up experience with commercial builds such as banks, retail spaces, restaurants, or office buildings
• Strong ability to plan ahead and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Clear, effective communicator both verbally and in writing
• Comfortable working independently and leading a field crew without close oversight
• Able to travel to job sites regularly, with trips home every 2-3 weeks
