What you'll be doing

As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll lead construction activities on site from mobilization through final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading all day-to-day site operations.
• Managing subcontractors and coordinating on-site activities.
• Maintaining safe, organized and productive job sites.
• Delivering projects to schedule while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Identifying and resolving issues before they impact project delivery.
• Working closely with Project Managers to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Building strong relationships with clients, landlords, vendors and project partners.
• Conducting site meetings, inspections and quality checks.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
• Supporting successful project closeout and client handover.

Requirements

We're looking for experienced Superintendents who enjoy leading teams, solving problems and delivering exceptional projects. You'll Likely Have Experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site management. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades. A proactive approach to health and safety. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Willingness to travel extensively as projects require. Experience delivering retail, commercial, remodel or multi-site construction projects is highly desirable. This is a travel-based role. Projects vary in location and duration, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling and staying away from home for extended periods when required.
