Traveling Superintendent

About the role

RWE Design Build is seeking an experienced TRAVELING SUPERINTENDENT to oversee our construction projects across the U.S. The role involves leading construction efforts, monitoring schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and resolving conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction efforts and monitor schedules with frequent onsite check-ins
• Coordinate and maintain construction schedules to ensure projects meet drawings and specs
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project
• Meet with subcontractor representatives daily and/or weekly to schedule and coordinate activities
• Work with owners, owner's reps, architects, and subcontractors to resolve conflicts and report issues to the Project Manager
• Maintain daily logs, progress photographs, and weekly reports
• Attend job meetings and other required meetings
• Schedule and attend required inspections
• Compile and coordinate punch list items for completion and project closeouts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a TRAVELING SUPERINTENDENT
• MUST HAVE 5+ YRS OF GROUND UP EXPERIENCE
• OSHA 30 Certified
• Experience with Procore
• Reliable personal transportation; mileage reimbursement provided
• Must create an initial schedule for the project and review weekly with sub-contractors, PMs, and stakeholders
• Strong technical, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and document management systems
• Knowledge of safety procedures, regulations, and codes
• Local and national travel required
• Experience in ground-up construction, additions, interior remodels, design build, carpentry
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
