Traveling Superintendent
About the role
River City Building Group (RCBG) seeks Traveling Superintendents to lead construction projects across diverse geographic markets. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a travel-based environment and enjoy building projects in new locations, with new clients, and alongside high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant jobsite
- Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and documentation
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with project safety requirements
- Cook up and supervise daily construction activities
- Manage subcontractors, site logistics, and construction sequencing
- Monitor progress and support schedule adherence
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs
- Maintain daily reports and project documentation
- Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and punch list activities
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively
- Serve as the primary field contact for owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Safety personnel
- Lead field coordination meetings and maintain positive project relationships
