Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations on commercial construction projects.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Cookordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and inspection agencies.
- Monitor project schedules and collaborate with Project Managers to maintain project milestones.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and progress.
- Identify project issues and communicate solutions promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, punch lists, as-built documentation, and project records.
- Ensure subcontractors meet contractual, safety, and quality requirements before beginning work.
- Maintain organized, clean, and professional jobsites.
- Build positive working relationships with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Support successful project closeout and warranty activities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction superintendent experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
- Experience using Procore
- OSHA 30 certification
- Valid CPR certification
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- This position requires standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
