Traveling Superintendent

Falcon Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our growing team. This is a full-time, nationwide travel position overseeing commercial retail, restaurant, and franchise buildouts throughout the United States. The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned jobsites, including coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and working closely with the Project Manager to successfully complete each project. Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day construction activities on assigned jobsitesCoordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendorsEnsure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standardsMonitor project schedules and proactively identify and address potential delaysEnsure project health and safety plans are properly implemented and maintainedConduct weekly jobsite safety meetingsCoordinate with inspectors and local authorities as requiredMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project ManagerReview plans and identify potential field conflicts or constructability issuesMaintain an organized, professional, and safe jobsiteAssist with punch list completion and project closeout Requirements 3–5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experienceRetail, restaurant, franchise, or other fast-paced commercial buildout experience preferredAbility and willingness to travel nationwideAdvanced knowledge of Procore is requiredExperience with Microsoft Office preferredStrong knowledge of construction drawings, schedules, sequencing, and jobsite operationsExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to independently manage a jobsite and coordinate multiple subcontractorsReliable transportationBasic hand tools for minor jobsite needs Travel Compensation & Benefits In addition to competitive base compensation, Falcon Construction provides Traveling Superintendents with: $280 weekly per diem while traveling$500 monthly vehicle allowance$500 annual vehicle maintenance reimbursementCompany AMEX for fuel and approved job-related expensesCompany-paid travel homeMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacationAdditional company benefits Physical Requirements Extensive nationwide travel is required.
