About the Role

The Framing Manager ensures the overall profitability of framing installed sales. This role involves training, supervising, and directing framing installation crews, performing quality checks at jobsites, and maintaining production or installation records. The Framing Manager plans framing installation work, apportions tasks among crews, oversees equipment and truck maintenance, and ensures crew safety and security. Additional responsibilities include assisting with field estimates and addressing customer inquiries or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Train installers and framing crews
• Monitor and enforce safety standards
• Oversee maintenance of all equipment and trucks
• Assist with estimating in the field
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in responding to customer inquiries or complaints
• Install framing as needed

Requirements

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software
• Ability to respond to common customer inquiries or complaints
• Strong reading comprehension for documents such as policy and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak or present in front of small groups
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
• Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
